Same engine. Both have AWD. Both have either a DSG or a 6MT.

Which do you choose. I was going to do the MKIV R32 and the 1st gen TT (I think the 1st gen TT looks better than the new one) but I didn't realize the 3.2 old TT was DSG only.

TT for me.  The R32 was DSG only in the US, otherwise it would have been my choice.  If this were England, R32 all the fucking way.  All the performance, without the attitude, and much more utility.  The DSG is the only reason I don't own an R32 right now.

R32 is dsg only.

Aargh.

R32 is too plebeian looking in the flesh. The TT looks awesome.

SVT666

TT all the way.  Sexy as hell.

Having kids is the only reason my mom doesn't own a R32 right now.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Darn. I picked these two because I thought it would be more balanced out.....

2 more seats for only a 100# penalty

I'm gonna buck convention and go with the R32

Same engine, more practicality, about equal performance, significant discount

TT looks good, but not THAT good.

giant_mtb

I'm young and utility isn't at the top of my priority list, so I went with the TT.  In a few years, I'd probably have chosen the R32 for its extra space.  But yeah.

CALL_911

TT is teh hawt. I'll take it.
