127mph on the Ninja. That's about all she's got...sadly.

I hit 90 multiple times this week on a two lane country road I drive every morning. Nothing like driving fast at 6 in the morning!

About 105.

I hit 100 several times whenever I"m out joyriding in the Z or Evo. Never like to go much faster than that, IIRC it's automatic suspension territory avove 100.

Over about 100 mph is also unsafe on the vast majority of public roads. Animals and other obstacles on back roads, other drivers on freeways. If I could get away with it, I would probably cruise at about 90-100 most of the time on open western U.S. freeways (depending also on the car), but not much above that without better drivers.

I think I hit 85 today... Not sure. Cruise was on at 80 for a while.

What kind of road was this on?
A good friend will come bail you out of jail...BUT, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, DAMN...that was fun!

I'm impressed.  Maybe it's the crap aero of the earlier EX500 but the wind buffeting about 60mph sucks on mine.  I've dinged the century mark a couple of times but I just don't feel the urge to go much faster on that thing.

Reached 200 km/h a few seconds later. Traffic up ahead forced me to slow down.

The car has its winter tires on now which are limited to a pathetic 210 km/h!  :rage:

I managed 200 km/h a few seconds later but as usual there's so much traffic on the Autobahns these days that keeping these speeds up for a while isn't possible...

Video of the 118i @ 160 km/h. I wanted to show how noisy the car is at that speed. I'm surprised it sounds so muted in the video. In reality the engine was pretty loud and the wind noises were unbearable.

That is very scary, considering the constant mechanical problems in key areas such as wheel bearings and tie rods.

I got that all fixed, remember? Car feels pretty great.

And the tie rod issue turned out to be a wheel bearing.

Yes, 60 mph actually is quite slow. Things the government doesn't want you to know...

Feels  lot better then the Neon did at those speeds. The neon felt like t was going to float away. I could have done all day at 100 in the Focus.

I probably should have just kept going. It's limited to 107mph...
