Can you record a clip of its exhaust? I'd love to hear it.

I think you should put on some zoomies with flaps.

I'll see what I can do re: the exhaust clip.  I think my digital camera will do sound.

As to the second request, I don't know what zoomies with flaps are...

Zoomies.

Use a flap to open and close then as you wish.

Yeah, not sure the zoomies are going to happen.  I do need to do something with the exhaust though.  A buddy of mine is in an auto tech program locally, and he's going to take a look (exhaust stuff is something I have little experience with and I'm not currently equipped to tackle that type of project).  Switching to a side exit exhaust ahead of the rear axle has not been ruled out yet.

More than likely, I'll keep the stock locations/routing.  Cat is gutted, and I'm thinking of losing the resonator, then running pipe back to a decent muffler (Bosal or Magnaflow or something) to DTM style exhaust tips.

Gutted cat + res delete + aftermarket muffler = you better be ready to deal with that noise day in, day out.

In all honestly, I love my car's exhaust but at the same time when I drive a normal car for a while and go back to it, I can't believe it's that loud. Not that I mind though

It's a second car, so I don't really care too much.  And it will be quieter than it is now - the cat is gutted already and there is a large break in the pipe just aft of that.  Properly sealed up, it shouldn't be too terrible.

Yes .  Erase the silly roof rack, get some larger wheels, and it'll look like a CHAMP.

Ha!

No way. Leave the roof rack, lower it. Skip the mondo wheels, do the exhaust.

Roof rack stays, I have bikes to transport.  As mentioned, 17" polished ASA AR1s will be going on soon.  Car looks pretty awesome with them.  No immediate plans for suspension work, as it needs nothing there.  Struts, control arms, balls joints, bushings, etc. are all new within the past 3 years.  This car is solid.
