The 3.2L and 6 speed is just a better combination, and it's more refined in about every aspect including ride and handling.

It's not that easy.  The hood, fenders, bumper, and lights are different.

Onslaught

Get the better looking first gen and put the motor and 6 speed in it. Or just keep it as it is because the original is just fine. And looks so much better it's not even funny.

Much easier than that folks..

The 3.2L and 6spd started in '97, so there are 5 full model years of the original look and updated drivetrain.

Ah I thought it still had the 5 speed.  I could still really care whether I have an NA1/2 as long as I have an NSX.
