I think it's a Diablo.

I like that Chrysler Town & Country. Such a sexy ride.

Not feeling that German-spec Plymouth Volare that has been uglified. 91-hp? Was this the 6-cylinder engine?

According to the ad, it's a Swiss-spec model.  The front turn indicators appear to have been changed to suit local laws but otherwise it's identical to the US-model.  This being a 1980 Volare, it has the facelifted front end with square headlamps.  And yes, that thundering 90-91 horsepower (depending on which source you want to believe) was produced by Chrysler's mighty 225 C.I.D. slant six.  Are you sure you can handle all that power?

Ah, I didn't read that far down regarding the Volare. I saw how horribly disfigured this car was (compared to the gorgeous American-spec version) and instantly lost interest.

My future Plymouth Volare has to look like this.  :praise:

Horribly disfigured?  Apart from the front turn indicators, this car is IDENTICAL to the US-spec 1980 Volare.

1980 Plymouth Volare US-Spec.

1980 Plymouth Volare Swiss-spec.

Where's the disfigurement?

Are those the FACELIFTED versions?

I think I like the 1970s version better complete with the rusting bumpers.

Yes, both the Dodge Aspen and Plymouth Volar? received a facelifted nose section, featuring a new grille and square headlamps for the 1980 model year.  I think it's odd that Chrysler would bother giving the car a facelift in it's final year of production, so I wonder if the decision to kill the Aspen/Volar? was made at the last minute, after the 1980 facelift had been signed off?

Okay, so I guess you only want the pre-facelift 1976-79 Volar??  Got it.  I still think you're crazy for wanting this shitheap, however.

This is the only Volar? I like.  Take it away, Dino.........

I think I have a soft spot for this design because it reminds me of a 1970s Toyota Cressida. My neighbors had one and I always liked that car for some reason in terms of design.

If you like the retro rod look, you can build one of these way cheaper than a Ford based rod.
