Test drive 'em

See which one you like driving more

And which ones I would like to work on.  Which is why new cars are out of consideration.

That's a pretty wide variation of cars. What's the common theme between them?
They're all awesome......duh.

We went to look at a green 91 Saturday.  Sold before I got there.

Yes, that is quite fantastic.  If I wanted to buy that and had found out that it had been sold just before I was able to look at it, I would feel so overwhelmed with the shame of my inadequacies that I would seriously consider seppuku.

I must agree.

Needs more horsepower, though...

First thing i'd do is rip out that horrible 90's airbag steering wheel.

It doesn't get much simpler than a 351 Cleveland. The Pantera just went to the top of my list.

Pantera is awesome but those GTOs behind it are even awesome...err.

Rupert

Those are cool cars. Really clean engine bays (except when they're rhino-lined  ). Good sized culture.

If you're looking for a DeTomaso, try finding a Mangusta.

That adds to its charm. Its like those K-cars with the razor sharp 80s bodies and the monstrous 1st gen airbags. Its a period-correct piece

Yeah, it's correct... I'd store it away and replace it with a nice Nardi or similar. I couldn't drive an Esprit having to look at a cheap GM parts bin wheel all the time.

The best part is the sound and they're so much fun to drive.

How do you burst into flames while in a lake?  That wouldn't work.  It would be like trying to smoke a cigarette in the shower.
