This thing is cool.

Got a cheap ($30)  OBD2 bluetooth reader for my birthday (which isn't until Sunday) from the wifey. The app is $5, there's a free version to see if it works first. This thing uses the GPS from your phone/tablet, the sensor info from the car's computer, kinda fun.. A quick trip around the block and when I get home and into wifi range it plots it all on a Google map.

You can check/clear codes, see realtime sensor info, plot trips, check gas mileage, do 0-60 or 1/4 mile runs, blah blah..

Need to get an android phone... this app could earn me some cash and pay itself off within a week.

What model/brand/whatever did you get?  Might be something I'd be interested in.

I'll have to look it up on my computer- I searched ebay for "bluetooth obd2" and read the reviews. Most of them look the same but some just don't work on some cars.. More expensive ones ($100+) are a lot better quality of course.

I think iStuff has the same app. (or an equivalent)
