I would probably pick out another POS from the trade-ins that the dealer I work for takes in.

I?d save up for a future car, but wouldn?t get any replacement immediately.

Pussy.

2 weeks after I started my train commute, the train struck a pedestrian who somehow wandered unto the railroad track. Does that count as an accident?

Pussy.

One of these days, I'm going to steal a VAN and use it to strike a pedestrian myself. Just to win approval from u guise.

Yes.

And I find you at fault.

Have you considered a career as an insurance adjuster? You'd make quite a fine one.

Doesnt take much to total bike (my crash totalled mine and I fixed it for about $1000)

If the bike was fixable I would def use that $$$$ as an excuse to get ZX636 forks and finish the nose project I am cobbling together

If not I would probably get an 05+ ZZR600 or 00-02 ZX6R. Then get the ZX12R front end

If I had to get a car w/the $$$ prob an old SE-R, G20 or Prelude. Cars are so damn slow though.

I'd really want a BMW E92 convertible.

Remember, drive it at least 15 km before you can ask the computer to check the oil levels.

Yeah, thanks for the reminder. This is why I then said that I'd probably end up with something more hoi polloi like a Hyundai or a Camaro. Or another Caddy.

Twin ratio final drive?  Not that uncommon in FWD cars.

A few days ago, I learned that its transmission has a hybrid of DSG and autotragic crawlin' torque converter.

Probably not a bad thing.  Seems a lot of DSG boxes are kind of clunky when creeping at parking lot speeds because the computer just isn't good at engaging the friction point just enough to creep you forward a couple of feet but not fully engaging the clutch.

Saturn - Nothing. I'd put the money towards the El Camino.

El Camino - Maybe a Datsun 510 or whatever cool car I come across first.

Honestly, it's not that bad.

All you need to do is make a mental note to check the oil levels when on a long trip. I'm sure there will be days when you'll drive the 14 km to work and then a few extra km's elsewhere - that's the time to have the computer check the oil levels.

Or, BMW could install a dipstick.

I checked the oil in our BMW yesterday. Took me 0 miles of driving, just a rag.

Honestly, it's easier to just drive around an empty parking lot like an idiot whenever I go to my parents' house every weekend so I can check my oil level. Who needs a dipstick when technology makes everything so convenient?

I'd probably get a BRZ, but given it'd be awhile until I got one, most likely a used E92 M3.  Slight chance of an RX-8, but pretty sure the M3 would win out.

Maybe another Mercedes, but unless it's a V70 or S60 T5 5-speed, I don't really want another Volvo.

I think I'd look into getting a BMW wagen. The TSX is a nice enough car, but I want to have a car with more ballz, before oil becomes a luxury good.

Too much upkeep costs.

I would totally buy a C6 if they were sold here, though.
