This isn't a thread for cars that are naturally soft or good handling, but cars that aren't resolved well. Stuff that doesn't feel good on the road.

Buick Rendezvous; bouncy on smooth pavement, and crashy over bumps. The whole thing wobbles no matter what you do.

This Harley. Bumpy roads are a no-go. The front forks seem to be filled with whipped cream and small rocks tied together with yarn, while a typical grocery store shopping carts enjoys more rear suspension travel.

The new Z4 is pretty bad. It manages to be stiff and not handle well at the same time.

Ask MrH. He can vouch for the terrible-ness of it.

Mine was soft and had a lot of body roll, but at the same time was very bouncy on the highway. It neither rode nor handled well.

You can't has though, because my Flyin' Miata Stage 2 suspension kit made it awesome. :praise:

Elantra. Worst handling car I've ever driven.

Anything w/o enough suspension travel

I have to say my 2004 T Bird! Combine the confused handling with the worst throttle responce I've ever encountered and you have a car that I couldn't wait to get rid of.

It's definitely up there on my list for newer cars with weird suspensions.

I'm going to nominate a '85 Cutlass Ciera Brougham. It's like a soft trampoline which tilts sharply to the side during gentle turns.

LOL! I grew up in a '84 Ciera Brougham!!! Actually learned how to drive in it! I don't remember the handling but I'm more than willing to take your word for it!

My El Camino before I did anything to it.

Bent front control arm, riding 2-3 inches too high in the front, no sway bar, crazy loose steering.

2o6

Scion xD, busy and stiff ride, but no handling chops.

Was Twin I-beam ever good?

I only hear people speak of it in a negative light.

Vaguely better than solid front axle, vaguely better than A-arms or whatever for off-road, and way better than A-arms for modifying.

I couldn't stand it. I never drove one that didn't suck ass. Trucks/vans went all over the place. Couldn't hold them in a line without fighting them all the time. And the front tires would never wear even.
I also found them more of a pain to work on as well.

Secret Chimp

The 2011ish U-haul E-van I drove to pick up a washer and dryer once didn't feel that weird to drive. The engine was horrible though. The gas pedal was just a loud pedal.

Oddly the early 2000s E chassis cab Uhaul I drove earlier this year was pretty fast.
