Like the title says, what's the best way to keep suede seating surfaces clean?

I have heard that clear vinegar is a good way to clean suede.

You ought to know anyway Cale, from all your suede shoes and keeping them clean.

Don't step on them either. Elvis told me so.

That advice was given with assumption that the user can identify the applicable wavelength of electromagnetic radiation emitted from the surface of the suede in question.

So it's okay to step on his brown suede shoes?

it's a brush and eraser.  There's a kit for army boots that also includes some cleaning stuff, but it's really only necessary for really soiled-on stuff.

So I brush first, then erase, then brush again, then sometimes cleaner (with a slightly damp rag) then damp rag with just water to rinse, brush, then let dry, and brush again...

But those are boots.
