Gotta go with the Yamahammer.  That motor was just so sweet.

It was the Maxima before the Maxima. My pick too, though thats not to take anything from the R/T. Another great motor wrapped in doo doo

SHO. Not because of the car. Because that thing is a POS. But when you opened that shit hood and looked at that motor.......

    Someone did NOT believe mine was stock. It was way cooler after I replaced the hood struts and didn't have to use a broom handle to hold it open....   

The Taurus of that era came with more stock stuff than most cars out then. Not all had power windows and locks on a car that cheap, etc...  but you could get most of that stuff on a Taurus cheaper than other cars.

The SHO was straight up amazing though. Fastest cheap 4door when it came out- and they started at $20k. (In 1989 the M5 was $35k and 7er was $50k+)
