Why settle for a Chrysler New Yorker when you could have the 1973 Imperial LeBaron?

Yes, happy birthday. I'm on the 6th. My mom never could recall if it was the 6 or 7 when people asked. Both are national tragedies.

Payman

Lol, these cars averaged 0-60 mph in 15 seconds, rated 8 mpg city, 13 hwy.

Probability of two people having the same birthday as the sample size grows:
Kia EV6 GT-Line / MX-5 RF 6MT

Onslaught

Is that 0-60 in mph or knots?

Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

That doesn't make sense- there are 365 possible birthdays, 23 people would only constitute app. 6% of the possible outcomes, which would not correlate to a .5 probability.

Actually, it was 10-11 seconds 0-60 mph.

However, roll back the clock but three model years, and the Caddy and Chrysler had ~50% more power good for 7-8 seconds 0-60 mph.

But definitely the Mopar - nobody built land yachts like the Fury, Imperial, New Yorker, etc., especially as it concerns the 440 V8.

Aw shit. I totally forgot about Imperial. I thought that by the early '70s the brand was dead.

The Imperial marque lasted until 1975.  The 1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham became the top-drawer Mopar after Imperial's demise.

So what brands did this '73 Chrysler New Yorker compete against? Buick/Oldsmobile? Mercury?

You've got it.  Chrysler was considered a semi-luxury marque like those brands you mentioned.
