Someone tell me what to pick. Because I know nothing about cars from those days. I don't even know what these are.

Vinsanity

they all look the same

but I cast my vote based on this:

Onslaught

They really do all look the same. But old people say that about modern cars. Must be a generation thing.

They were, generally, early '50s cars with the chrome trim removed with all the holes, seams and creases filed with lead.  Often, they were lowered and had sparkplugs imbedded in the tail pipes to ignite unburned fuel.  Very cool.

Us old people also say that modern cars are sterile and have about as much personality as a refrigerator .  Not cool.

Hey, I think the best looking cars came from the 90's. Not now. Your cars look like boats.

You/some might also think that the best music came from the '90s but that's not true either .

Depends on the genre. Soul or R&B? No, that's the 60's. I'd ray most rock of the 60's too is better.
Rap, if you can call that music was better in the 90's as was the alternative rock.

And the cars looked better.

The '50s were all about style and glitz...and Rock & Roll.
The '90s?  That's when the imported appliances took over and the Back Street Boys were polluting the airwaves.

And nary a domestic among the lot :(...

Having grown up in a era when North American cars dominated the streets, the 90s, indeed, was a sad era for gearheads.  Old gearheads, that is...

I'll give these ones you posted this much, they have much better lines then the later domestics did. I can't stand our cars during the "how big can you make a fin" days.

I wasn't a big fan of huge fins either; I guess we can thank Harley Earl and his fascination with the Sabre jet for that particular phenomenon.

However, the early ones did make a pretty attractive lead sled...

I love those '49 Caddys. Probably the year I would get.

As for the poll, I went with the classic Merc sled. The Buicks are nice too - good bodyline down the side. Don't like the grill quite as much, however.

I love American cars from the '30s to the mid-1970s in terms of styling. There were some beautiful cars in the early '80s as well like the '81 Ford LTD Crown Victoria or Chevrolet Caprice Classic.
