Leaked! Official reveal is in a few hours. This must be the F-sport trim, I wonder what it looks like in more basic of a trim.

Good find.

Holy shit are those taillights ugly though.  Wow.  Just looks like it's crying.

Nice to see Lexus is skipping the aftermarket and doing rice straight from the factory.

The interior looks nice, though.

Oy. It looks visually like they just took the current 2006 IS and added ridiculous styling tweaks. The overbearing grille was expected; the taillights are just appalling.

Interior looks nice, though, but the sea of buttons doesn't look like it will be too user-friendly.

REAR: Very Acura-like, I think. Aside from resembling an older era Acura from the back, I like the fact that it's not bland whatsoever.

Exactly how I imagined the front grille, too, Iffy, but I think it's probably going to go over big amongst the vehicle's target buyer. The "blinged out" look will appeal to many. It's like getting an Mercedes-Benz AMG, BMW M or Audi S treatment as standard fare. It looks very Asian 'cause it is. Novel. It will sell well, I predict. A little too "Pimp-My-Ride" for my more more conservative tastes in auto design, but... It will find its audience.

I love the rear. Im just not keen on the proportions, it dieant look racy or striking. Theyre sexing up a boring shape.

Interior is gorgeous. I like the user friendly appearing factor after driving the nice (really nice) 2013 Cadillac ATS. The Caddy is full of too many needlessly frustrating to operate gimmicky controls that made me wishing I was behind the wheel of a more straight forward post-generation 1 iDrive 3-Series.

Same here with the tail end, 2o6. It looks exotic, I think.

Thus far, the proportions do not bother me. I think it might be harder to gage in bright white (as the only color shown thus far). Not unlike white on a full figured gal, she could come across as looking squatty and fat while in another color look mighty sexy and curvaceous.

The front and rear lights look like they're "crying". Not really feeling the exterior (might look better in person). Interior looks decent from a design POV.

I actually saw an IS250 yesterday - the first IS I've seen here in months.

The outgoing model is down to sales of less than 1000 cars a year in UK.......... and this new one, with its absolutely horrific front end looks very unlikely to change matters.

Lexus' only hope has to be that as the diesel-obsessed market struggles with Euro 6 compliance and the consequent extra cost and complexity, that their Hybrid solution in the IS300h is more appropriate. If so, Lexus will have an almost unique position in the market (the BMW Active Hybrid cars are aimed at the performance enthusiast and are not diesel substitutes at present). But for now, the absence of diesel means that even if European consumers wanted this car - and I submit that very few will - the fiscal difficulties will just rule it off shopping lists.

Cookie Monster

Front looks similar to the existing model. I like the rear but I think I'd like it more if they toned down the entire exterior.

The interior looks gorgeous, though. Very LFA-ish.

It looks like one of those robots from I, Robot.

I don't think it's so bad, actually. I like the interior. This thing is supposed to be related to the FR-S?

I expected....more?

It feels really familiar.  Like a facelift instead of an all-new model.

Looks like the interior was ripped from the GT-R.

... Nissan needs to use these shocks on the GT-R.  It would be like the Incredible Hulk wielding Thor's hammer.... unstoppable.

Looks more like it was ripped from the LF-A, IMO. In either case, that's hardly a bad thing.

It's a BRZ underneath.

Not digging it so much in pictures, but I will wait to see how it looks IRL. Sometimes these types of designs look better IRL than in pictures.

Interior is nice, will probably drive great...

It'll have to be an awful better than the outgoing one, then, for that to be true.

Whilst there was nothing wrong with the old IS250, it was desperately underwhelming to drive. Just felt like a posher Toyota. See here

SVT666

I really dig the rear.  The front is awful though.

Hmmm. Looks like I did indeed jump the gun. Googlism says it's all new but wow, why the hell not make it look like it.

2o6

Keep in mind this is the F-sport model. I wonder what it looks like in standard trim. I think many nuances of the design can be rectified if they were far simpler.

Interior is nice. Exterior is hideous, one of the ugliest cars on the American market.

Lettuce be cereal. The IS's interior looks far more like this:

than the GT-R's.
