I want a wagon for my next vehicle mostly because my wife hates them.

Good call. How about a 1994 Mercury Sable wagon?

Old hat man.  I had a 1995 Taurus wagon.

Small car? You're not Shaq..

VW Jetta SW TDI is on my list as well.

What about the new Golf R coming out?  Seems like a better fit.

My boyfriend spends a total of 2 hours in the car, each day, commuting through crappy Seattle Eastside traffic. I think the Golf R's superlative qualities would... go underutilized

I explained to her that her Lexus is a wagon.
Does she refuse to drive it now?

I think it looks much, much better than the previous design. Still not huge on the interior though. That one air vent just looks so out of place.

In these pictures it looks like a dumpy rhino, but in person they look like sex.  This is a good thing.

I am getting used to it and am now doing a double take to figure out year. Side-be-side, I like the more aggressive look of my '13 XC60 R-Design but it could just be a case of ownership. I wouldn't change a thing about the looks of model I ordered spec-by-spec, i.e., its color, but would like the upgraded NAVI that debuted for MY14.

It's a crying shame that there was never a wagon version of this.  :praise:

Those cars needed more rear overhang.

In March the V60 was the 3rd best selling vehicle in the lineup behind the S60 and XC60... I saw one on the road the other day and not bad looking either.. If this continues will Volvo cave in a bring the V40 over....

$39875 MSRP with xenon, parking camera, heated seats and auto climate control, but leatherette (no leather option?)

Not terrrrrrrrrrrible? The TSX was a few thousand less but
Don't forget torque. I think it might get better gas mileage too.

I drove the V60 and was not very impressed. The numbers don't tell the whole story about how unremarkable a drive it is.

And LOL if it's going to get better economy - once that turbo spins up it gobbling gas like crazy. The one we test drove reported 15mpg. We don't have the kind of highway driving here that preserves inertia, so the highway MPG figures are worthless. We have hills and traffic.
