You feel that? It's a Tremor!

I kinda dig it actually.  Not much of a truck guy but if I was in the market I'd get this

Wait.

When did '70s style side graphics come back into style?
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

For a while I guess.  The Boss 302 and some of the Challengers use a stripe like that.

SVT666

The Tremor is a stripe and wheel package.  No powertrain or suspension changes.  It's stupid.

4.10 gears is standard.  I would like to see more boost though.

Why would I want an economist to always ride with me in the cab?

I hope he's an Austrian, at least.

Maybe he means ecoboost?  I don't know how car rides with economist would be.

They didn't even go full on with the stripe. If you're going to dip back into that decade, go all the way in.

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

This doesn't seem all that bad until you realize that it prevents the World Ranger from being sold here...

The Colorado and Canyon will be back soon enough.

You know, not even the government can buy anything smaller than an F-150. The manufacturers didn't even bother to bid on the mid-size truck contract.

I don't think that was going to happen anyway.  Ford can build a more profitable F150 and sell it for around the same cost.  I don't see the point of buying a mid size truck anymore.  When my dad was looking at trucks a well equipped Tacoma with a V6 was about the same price as a V8 Tundra and got about the same fuel economy.

Rupert

I prefer smaller trucks unless I have a need for the larger size (which I don't). Easier to park and maneuver, easier to turn around and dodge obstacles on dirt roads.

Most people don't take pickup trucks off asphalt.

Rupert

I am aware. I know plenty of people who prefer small trucks for the first two reasons, though clearly not enough to make small trucks available,

I prefer smaller trucks just for the parking lot issue alone.

Smaller trucks also fit down a lot of the trails that full sized ones don't.

Ugh, even the LR2 has the shit scraped out of it at this point from going through the NJ Pine Barrens. Bitch is gonna need a paint job early.

You're insane. Get an old pickup truck for that kind of shit.

Ehh... LR2 is white so you don't really notice it unless you're up close and intentionally looking. Pickup truck = extra insurance bill, maintenance, repairs. I'd rather just deal with painting the LR2 in a few years.

Not to mention there's nothing like offroading in luxury.

Couple grand for a beater truck that maybe needs a grand worth of work/parts to make it suitable for wheelin'...or an $8,000 paint job that will get ruined again.

Hmmmmmmm.

Just 3M coat the entire car.  Or get a bunch of iPad screen protectors.

You oughta see the Jeep I drive at work! Took it down one too many chaparral-lined skinny dirt roads...
