I thought about buying a maserati coupe and slapping a kreissieg f1 exhaust on it simply to get the best sound for 30K.
I've come across a few maserati coupes for around 25-30K, plus 6K(ish) for the exhaust and I'd never get out of that car.

I still want to buy a 355 someday, occasionally I look around and see some in the 50K range.

Of course, purchase price is one thing. Maintenance is a whole other manner all together.
