The MS3 is still FWD. And it's ugly.

God they really screwed that one up, the first gen was such a looker. The latest gen is horrible, if you can get past the outside(which I actually can) the interior is the knock out blow.

I actually think that a BMW/Mazda pairing would be a great thing. I've always looked at Mazda as the poor mans BMW when it comes to handling and having a sporty feel in most all their cars.
10 yrs ago, I would say yes. Now, not so sure.

Mazda 6, still more sporty then the Camry or Accord. Mazda 3, as sporty or more so then all others. Same as the 2. And then you have the MS3 and Miata still.

The front bumper kills the new one. I don't mind the rest of the exterior and even like the hood scoop being a child of the 80's. But the interior of that car is just shit. Sooooooo much plastic all over the place.

O no Mazda is definitely sporty. I just don't think they are the poor man's BMW anymore. Their bread n butter cars all lost their sporty crowns. There's not really a clear sporty luxury car maker... they all have a lot more range. Whereas Mazda is clearly the sportiest mainstream manufacturer by a country mile.
