Most everyone knows this, but I'm going to say it again anyway...

We bought a Jetta Sportwagen TDI on Saturday!  It's just the base model, but my mom really doesn't care.  It's a pretty cool car.  I'll have more pictures and driving impressions on Friday.

You gotta have more material than this if you're gonna start a topic, Mr. Letdown :/

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

Ummm, ok.

I'm sorry, I guess?

Raza

Needs 20" rimz, cut springs, and an exhaust.

It's white. Cornsilk interior. Diesel. What else is there to know? I've never driven one. Interior is nice. My mom doesn't know what glow plugs are.

Glow plugs can mean two different things depending on what store you're in: they're very different at an AutoZone and an an AutoEroticaZone.

I've driven a Jetta Wagon in the US and Golfs in Europe with the TDi engine. put the 2 together and you have a very practical and capable car indeed.......... everything in fact that our resident VAG lover, Char, says it is not! (how long will it be before he crashes this thread with his special brand of approbation for the Johnson family's new purchase?).

Great pick. I hope it treats you guys as well as my Golf is treating me.

95% or more of the jetta wagons I see are TDIs.  It's rare to see a gas version.

For a while they didn't even sell a gas Sportwagen, but they've reintroduced it.

The only saving grace of that shi...car is it's engine. $400 fluid changes, glitchy electronics and poor interior quality (they don't hold up well) and your mother will wish she bought a Prius. Enjoy it while it lasts.

And you can thank the resident VW mouth breather for inviting me in this conversation.
