2.6-l V8, RWD, dogleg 5-speed M/T <---- That's all you need to know.  :ohyeah:

Prediction: 9 out of 10 Carspinners want to trade in their Miata for a Montreal.

VIDEOS

Awakening the beast and backing it out of the garage. Listen to that engine sound!

1972 Alfa Romeo Montreal 1)

Speeding on public roads. Great engine sound (Can your Miata or BRZ do this? Huh? HUH? )

1972 Alfa Romeo Montreal 2)

Colin probably noticed this, but he also has one of the first produced Fiat Ritmo 60 (60-horsepower 1.1-l engine) in his garage with only 9,900 km on the odometer. The Fiat Ritmo is virtually extinct due to poor build quality and extreme rust issues. I remember as a kid how cool these were (they still look cool), and back in the late '80s and early '90s you could still see some of then driving around. Now? They're all gone. This car should be in a museum!

Nice Montreal, I like old alfa's.

Kind of ruined the ambiance by mentioning the miata/brz, but I know you can't help yourself anymore.

Nice Alfa collection.  What year are the Spiders.

Not sure, but the red Spider is a Series I, which means 1966-1969. The silver one is a Series II, so 1970–1982.

For the record I wouldn't trade my Miata in for one.

Still, nice looking cars.

Well, you are a mazda whore.

I don't think any of us are surprised.

Onslaught

I'm also not an Alfa fan. But he said 9 out of 10 carspiners would trade their Miata for that alfa. Now if that things valuable then I'd think about it. I could sell it and buy something different.

1. I didn't see the 9 out of 10 comment.

2. It's wimmer, so I'm not surprised at such a foolish comment.

3. I wouldn't trade my Miata for it either. I would, however, buy one if presented the opportunity and park it next to my miata.

4. Did I mention that nobody pays attention to wimmers ridiculous miata/brz/whatever comments.

Colin

What a collection.

Officially jealous. Very.

Onslaught

I like the NSX but would lose those rims on it.

What's the deal with the speedometer?  I'm assuming the numbers are meant to be 10s of Kms/h (so 10 = 100 km/h), but the base says "x1000".

Giri is italian for rpm, so I would assume that the original cover broke, and they could only find one for the rev indicator.

No, the only thing more unreliable then a Mazda RX car is anything made in Europe.

That's pretty common on some older Italian cars. "3" on that speedo equates to 30 km/h, "10" is 100 km/h and so forth. The "x1000" is probably a replacement for the original "x10" covering that probably was lost.

Your RX-8 is unreliable? How can that be? It's JAPANESE!
