You do understand that I'm talking about the VW's mentioned in this thread (Passat, Golf A4/6) Right?
Get off the high horses - no one outside of these forums and VW vortex takes VW cars/engines seriously.

What about the GTI? The 2.0T and DSG is an awesome package. For my last car that, the S4 and G37 were my top 3 pics (I went with the G37 sedan).

hotrodalex

For a company that has a viable shot at being the world's largest automaker, I'd say a lot of people take them seriously.

Looks like Porsche has solved the problem of the Macan being to close to the Cayenne price wise with the Cayenne's facelift. The base Cayenne will be disbanded, all other Cayennes will become aprox. €4,000 more expensive.

Did they solve the visual problem? I mean the way the Macan looks? It's way too big, way to wide and way to low. Not to mention in silver colour looks like a total crap.

GM was the worlds largest for a while - and they got there building crap. What do you think VW is doing?

Why does engine orientation determine primary drive wheels?  Passats through the B5.5 generation, MkI Toronados, and FWD Subarus from yesteryear all have longitudinal mounted engines.

Yeah, but char has alluded to the fact he thinks the Macan and A4 are fwd and Golf based

The A4 is FWD, though not on the Golf platform.

This is a thread about the Macan though. Posting something generic without an identifier, how is anyone going to find out wtf you are talking about?  Yes you did mention VW in generic terms, but you could have easily meant Porsche. After all you refer to Audis as VWs as well.

12,000 RPM

Lol, specificity and Char don't mix. He won't identify what car he drives, how old he is, what he does for a living etc but has judged many here for all those things. He hates VWs but won't speak to his specific actual experiences with them, instead just citing whatever he can find on the internet to rationalize his hatred. He's a good troll, but unfortunately the basis of that trolling is intellectual (and general) cowardice.

When's the next circus act set to begin? I'm sure Nick is itching to come back and scream FYA at us once more. Someone call him.
