Let me guess, you think it's too big and too heavy

....what the fuck were you expecting?

Looks great. Exactly what you'd expect, and that's a very good thing. I'd take the M3 over the M4, though.

I'm not excited about this. It's predictable.

Calm down

It supposedly lost a good amount of weight from the E90 so no, no gripe there. Not happy about the turbos but that is what it is. It just looks a little boring/confused. BMW ///M sedans are supposed to strike that balance between aggression and understatement. This looks both boring and overwrought at the same time. Should be a great drive though.

Those hideous, hideous bumpers (both front and rear ) ruin an otherwise good design imo.

GoCougs

Wheels look too small and the lowering and wheel offset looks sort ricey.

MexicoCityM3

I like the sedan better than the coupe, and it will be slightly cheaper too so win-win there.

There's a weird optical illusion going on between the front and rear tires. The front opening is a lot bigger than the rear. Makes the wheel fitment look off. It doesn't look much lower than a regular 3 to me though.

I still hate the way the new 3 series headlights look. Ruins the whole front end for me.

You're my age.  We're getting old.  Plus, now that you're married, your life expectancy has gone way down, since you're more likely to be poisoned by your wife.

Also, 0-60 in 3.9 (DCT) and 4.1 (Manual), weight is exactly the same as the E46 M3 used to be. Sedan is only 23kg heavier than the coupe. 25% more fuel efficient, electric steering has some interesting considerations:

Servotronic function electronically adjusts the level of steering assistance according to the car's speed
3 modes: Comfort, Sport, Sport+ (standard option)
Specially tuned for M3/M4
Will not compensate for understeer, oversteer, coarse road surface. Motor will not help unwind the steering wheel and it will self-center by by natural forces

If some guy put that bumper on Bimmer, you guys would be shitting on him for it being ricey.  That bumper sucks.

I agree. It's not horrible but it is a little rice.

Lebowski

Overall I like it.  I'd take it in sedan form.

Raza

Don't care for the bumper treatments (though the rear is worse than the front), but it's still better looking than the 4 series M.

So what, we are suppose to have a M product that looks boring instead of aggresive?   No wonder new cars continue to suck more and more

Cars suck now. They are all stupid fast, stupid boring, and stupid riced out. What happened to machines that seamlessly combined style and function for the ultimate enjoyment of the driver?

The flappy things on the tops of the bumper corner inlets make the car look like it's making the Dreamworks face from a front quarter angle.

Not so sure. The shot with the least opportunity for illusion looks the worst to me (wheels/tires too small, sorta ricey lowering job):

M cars have always been aggressive.  All sports cars have a level of aggressiveness to their style ever since cars were actually styled.  Not sure what your bitch is about

You can only do intake/cat/header mod i think.

But like I said don't buy it before the seasonal.  You can "rent" it for free and you win it by getting bronze.

You can't even repaint it and the interior is blacked out but I'm sure that will be fixed soon.  Seems similar to the C7 in GT5.

This isn't a sports car. The front and rear bumpers look like something Pontiac would make.
