3100 lbs is pretty light for something with AWD, a DSG and not to mention, 600HP.  Not bad.

+1. Italians are notorious for lying about curb weights though. Still makes the GT-R look that much more ridiculous.

That looks really fucking good.  But DSG only?  Man, when I win the lottery, the only car I'm going to want to buy on sale today is an R8 convertible.
Complains about purity - wants to buy a convertible (a shitty VW one at that)

... Nissan needs to use these shocks on the GT-R.  It would be like the Incredible Hulk wielding Thor's hammer.... unstoppable.

My ex girlfriend was Italian. She was always lying about her curb weight.

The cited 3100 lbs number is "dry weight", not curb weight.  I would expect curb weight (which includes fluids) to be ~150 lbs more.  Still, <3300 lbs for an AWD, 600 hp car is respectable.  Especially when you consider that its predecessor weighed several hundred pounds more.

I always joke that dry weight doesn't include the metal in the chassis that they have to heat to the liquid phase to form. Dry weight = only pressed metal.

You should probably have brought her in off the curb.

Nah the GT-R has no reason to be embarrassed by the specs on a $200,000 car.

I guess you forgot who owns Lambo as well as Audi?

BENZ BOY15

Looks better than the one it's replacing.

I'll take one in black.

I am a huge Lambo fan, so this car is right up my alley. I like the styling, especially in motion (like in the ad shoot video). Love that it kept the traditional V10 engine, but moved to a dual-clutch. But for me, I would have a hard time picking this over a future GT3 RS, considering that it would probably be just as fast, sound almost as good and be a TON cheaper.

What makes you think a GT3 RS would be a ton cheaper than the baby Lambo?

Because I severely doubt this Lambo will be anything less than 215K starting. The 991 GT3 is 130K starting, the last RS 4.0 was somewhere in the 180s IIRC. I doubt the regular GT3 RS will eclipse the price of a special edition like the 4.0, much less 200K. That would be a 70K raise in base...not for that formula, no way.

FlatBlackCaddy

I actually think this thing looks really clean and simple, also the car overall looks "small" and compact.

I guess it's starting to look audi(ish), less ostentatious and more elegant.
