Cool, thanks for the reply, I wondered how it worked. So this is a normal practice that banks are happy to do?

It should be.

I've heard of swaying with a trailer but... what kind of a weird heap was your old car really?

It was worse than I thought. That whole front was really half assed. It felt pretty sloppy at speed

Did you ever have it aligned?  Sounds like your toe may have been out of whack (toe-out can make a vehicle unstable and darty).

I had a similar feeling on my Accord that clued me in to a torn steering rack boot that let rain degrease and eat up my inner tie rod end.

Bad tie rod ends will make a car unstable at certain speeds too.  We had a plow truck at my old place of work that had bad rod ends.  At 35-45 mph it wandered all over the road and the required steering wheel input to correct was inconsistent.  Below 35 it was OK and above 45 it actually seemed better (though still not great).  It was spooky.

Man I forgot how good the soapy brushes worked out there. The Brown Bears out here barely squirt a glop every 10 seconds.

It's champagne. Black people have a tradition of slow-mo spraying their "rides" with Cristal while "honeys" gyrate in the out-of-focus regions.

Those tires make it really grab hold of the road. With some stiffer springs and a sway bar, I could do some serious damage at the track
