For once, semiconductor shortages weren't responsible for a delay.

edit: this is the badge supplier, who got busted for dumping toxic chemicals into the local river.

I would wonder where these badges are made.

Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

I'm guessing this is the reason why Ford is looking for a new head of supply chain

Everybody's having supply chain issues.

Added my favorite traffic sign in sticker form to the rear of my car. If you see this sign on a German Autobahn, it means YOU CAN SPEED - FREEDOM!  :praise: :mrcool:

My NC just rolled over 100K miles. Maintenance time. Ordered 4 new brake rotors, decent quality brake pads, 6 quarts correct trans fluid, 4 new Denso spark plugs and coil boots. Under $300 from Rockauto.
I already have a gallon of correct coolant.
Went in yesterday on my day off to do the brakes. Took my time, did it right.
The NC is a great little car. Well designed, durable and fun to drive.

I've thought about a PRH NC with an Auto for my "fun car" later in life. I don't need "speed" and it could be a better highway cruiser than my NB.

I was just reading some S&P 500 daily updates:
"Consumer stocks were also in the red, pressured by a slump in autos after UBS downgraded Ford Motor (NYSE:F) and General Motors (NYSE:GM) on worries of "demand destruction" for automakers next year as supply will likely exceed demand.
UBS downgraded General Motors to neutral from buy and cut the price target to $38 from $56, and Ford to sell from neutral, with a price target of $10 down from $13. "

Two things that I find interesting - #1 that they think supply will catch up with & surpass demand next year. Should be a better time to buy a car, then. #2 they rate Ford lower than GM. Right now I see Ford with 3-4 huge successes on their hands, while GM has some cool stuff they don't have near as much hype for mainstream vehicles. The Maverick, Bronco, and Lightning seem more likely to bring in more cash than the new Z06. And the EV Silverado doesn't have the same hype as the Lightning.

What the. Is that price because of dealer markup or do they actually have options/models up in that price range?

Speaking of Kia, I had no idea the Kia Seltos existed until I got behind one in the TBell drivethru line yesterday.
