That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

Unless it has some significant handling advantage (which I'm sure it does with it's super light weight and low low low ride height) over a Ford GT or something else that can compare to it, I don't see the point other than street cred...though you could barely drive that thing on the street without tearing up your undercarriage...

Whew!  That looks so good.

You guys don't get it.  A super car is supposed to be crazy.  That's purely functional.  It looks like the supercar I've been doodling in my notebooks in class.

Raza, youre nuts. That car is so ugly that it makes my English teacher look like Adriana Lima.

QuoteRaza, youre nuts. That car is so ugly that it makes my English teacher look like Adriana Lima.
Yeah, I am nuts, but that has nothing to do with it.

What's ugly about the car?  Yes, the side profile is a little funky, but the front is pretty much flawless, and I'd smile uncontrollably every time I see the back of it:

Because I'd know that's what other drivers would be seeing at all times.

Jesus, it's like driving a Lemans racer on a daily basis.

Look at it!  It's not quite a Radical SR8, but it's gorgeous, raw, functional, and it makes other supercars look fat and slow and boring--most of them anyway.
Sure, it's not an obvious beauty like the Carrera GT, but it's beauty is in its function.

And that interior looks like a nice place to be.  Damn!

You guys...hold on, let me post your kind of car:

Right, now that's a supercar!  They even sell it in yellow!

The Noble's quite a track day car, though it's very sensible comparatively, and not any nimbler than a Lotus Elise.  Why buy a Noble when I can get an Exige for the same price?

I see some Ferrari F40 in the front, and even in the front wheels, but I still think it looks damn good.  Raza is right, a supercar doesnt need to be practical.  I think it would be impossible to drive this on an everyday basis, but hey, its relatively cheap, very fast, and looks good to boot!

Wow.  I love that interior!  I'm with you, Raza and MX.  I'd drive the piss out of it everyday!

I would rather have this:

More power, less weight, same price, and decent looks.

Run Away

^ can't forget modability...any LS1 Camaro/Corvette parts will fit on it.

TBR

Actually, the production version has a modified LS6. That means 435hp for 2200 lbs. Or, if you have some extra dough laying around, you can upgrade to a Photon which is over 200 lbs lighter. Forget the Saleen S7 and that 486 LM thing, the Mosler MT900 is where it's all at

Run Away

Ooo, even better.
I thought they were still using the prototype's LS1.

Well you can mod an LS6 pretty easily too.B)

Since when did the Saleen S7 cost only 135K?  I was under the impression it was more like 400K, especially when Steve Saleen called it an alternative to a summer home.

At least there are some people with proper sense on this board.  I always thought it would be the younger (younger than I, that is) that would have a love for the impractical and incredible, but it seems it's the older ones (and Dave) that really get it.

Damn--I did this time.  Just glanced at it, saw that ugly yellow color and assumed "S7".  They do look alike, don't they?

I do love the MT900, but it's nowhere near as ridiculous as this car.  I'd have to take the Evans.
