Nissan Maxima....

It looks a hell of a lot better here than the Superbowl ad, but I'm not sure about the proportions. It looks ass heavy, and the surfacing (although clever and unique and I appreciate Nissan's effort) makes the wheelbase look stumpy and the whole car look as a whole, un sporty....

It's not bad though, but if it looks anything like the superbowl car in person, then they've failed miserably.

If the Maxima is going to be a 4DSC, the car needs to be wayyy more rakish and impractical.

Man it looks so bulky. The front and ass are so big it makes the greenhouse look tiny. I get trying to make the car look muscular but this is just taking it too far.

I like the details (headlights, taillights) and think they're an improvement over the outgoing model but overall it's a mess.

With such a bulgy ass hood it would probably be comfortable to be hit by this thing as a pedestrian.

Rear seat is going to be claustrophobic as fuck

Shoulder line is as high as the Murano's

Mixed feelings. Aside from the QX56 nose the current one doesn't look bad. Im gonna have to make my call when I see this on the skreets.

It looks like ass.  Those are probably 18" wheels, and look how much metal there is above them.  I wouldn't be surprised if the cowl is over 40" off the ground.  This thing looks like it could be a crossover.

Just awful. Nissan makes absolutely nothing of interest to me. Altima and maxima are the worst offenders by far.

GT-R. Only that. The 370Z is too long in the tooth.

Unfortunately, I agree.

GTR is at the point where it's so old that it's really not all that special anymore. Cars like the C7 Z06 give it a run for its money on both price and performance, and its never been able to outrun its ugliness.

If this is the 2016 GT-R, it looks fantastic.

ifcar

The front looks like an SUV clip stuck on a car, and there are other very Murano-like elements as well. At least it's not dull, and hopefully it will do better in person.

I certainly remember thinking "what the hell were they thinking?" with the outgoing Maxima, and now think it aged really well and looks quite sharp.

Wat more does it need... it offers E46 M3 performance for half the inflation adjusted price

Yes I am a fanboi. But the Z is the pure cheap sports car everyone claims doesn't exist.

I agree though that most of Nissan's lineup is of no interest.... INCLUDING the GT-R. Until u hit 10/10ths, which takes a track and balls, it is like a fast Altima with an even cheaper interior (at least the iteration I drove).
