Seems like 30% to 50% of the drivers I see on the highway are farting around with a phone while they attempt to drive.  That many idiots in that short time span doesn't surprise me at all.

Even though cell phone use while driving (you can be ticketed for simply holding a phone in your hand here) has been illegal for a long time here, I still see a ton of people driving with a phone held to their ear.  Texting at traffic lights is another common phenomenon.

This is why I want to get a head unit I can do screen mirroring on. I only use my phone on the road for GPS/traffic, would hate to get popped for that.

Let's use some logic - if this many people are doing it, and crashes and injuries and deaths are decreasing - is it a problem?

Make no mistake though - I use my horn anytime I see a violator, esp. at stop lights or poking along on the freeway.
