Nah, I should autocross a worn out, underpowered pickup truck.

Ok, I have to admit: I have always wanted a bedless truck.  Call me sick and twisted, or something else.

Bobbers.
You've heard of them, and you probably think it's a motorcycle thing. Well, it is. No? Maybe you're more familiar with choppers, but those have generally turned into retarded rich boy penis extensions. I'm talking about the original idea of removing excess weight and keeping it simple, stupid.
Heck, a tractor can bobtail around without its trailer, so why can't pickup bobtail around without its bed? Bobber truck, yo. I'm starting the movement. Move over stance, here comes bob.

You should cut the back off of a late 80s or early 90s Calais wagon and mount it to the back.  I've seen station wagons cut open to convert them to hillbilly pickups, but I don't think I've ever seen a station wagon back grafted onto a truck.  It could be a new trend.

Stop trying to make the vehicle useful. The whole point is to strip it down so it can do nothing but transport one or two people as quickly as it can with the parts it has. Maybe it won't be slowest time of the day at the autocross.

I see lots of station wagon bodies grafted onto the backs of pickup trucks everyday.  They're called SUVs.

Not all of them were tractors. They were sometimes just chopped down super light weight cars.

What I tell you to do doesn't make a difference. You're going to do what you want anyways. From my perspective, all I'm gaining is entertainment.

I saw a really cool bedless minitruck drivng around yesterday. I only saw it from behind, but I think it was a Nissan. It was slammed with some big chrome rims, custom fancy color paint, and taillights stuck to the ends of the frame rails. I felt validated. I should proceed with the nonsense.
