Camaro SS.
Camaro equivalent to the GT350 (not sure if it'll happen).
A4/S4 though those hopes are all but dashed now owing to he picture release from a few days ago.

SVT666

I know you're all expecting me to say the GT350, and you would be right.  I can almost guarantee that no matter how good the Alfa in my sig looks or how well it drives, it's going to be as reliable as a Space-X rocket, the CTS-V is too big and too much of a sledgehammer now to really appeal to me anymore, the Miata has never excited me because it focuses on just one aspect of driving (handling) and I like to have handling AND power, and the new Ford GT is a 2017 model, so that leaves the GT350/GT350R.

SVT666

I'm also really looking forward to the Focus RS.

SJ_GTI

Miata, Camaro SS, and the Giulia.

Raza

I don't know that many new for 2016 cars, since cars suck these days, I don't really pay attention anymore.

I haven't seen the new Camaro, and anyway it's unlikely to excite me, as I've just never been a Camaro guy.

The new Miata is great looking, but it's not the car I'd actually want to spend money on.

The new Giulia, even though I'm years away from being able to think about affording a car like it, is probably the one I most want to buy, so I'd say Giulia.

I've disliked the Camaro since driving my brother's 2010 SS for 2 weeks... I mean really dislike, and I've always been a GM pony car fan. Nothing about the new one strikes me as an improvement.

What, you weren't won over by the hideous interior and imaginary windows?

Camaro shows the power of image in the American auto market. Performance (you can never fully deploy on the street with regularity) aside,  by all measures its a terrible car. And yet its a sales success. Its amazing.

According to Sporty, dynamics don't mean anything if the infotainment system is difficult to operate.

Wouldn't call the entire thing terrible, but it does have some major shortcomings that aren't necessarily easy to overlook.

I had a friend who had one. He couldn't stand driving it after the initial honeymoon period. Sold it and kept his CT200h. Talk about a different car.

U are applying the fact that u live on the side of a mountain to everybody else. Plus u live on the side of a mountain and drive an auto G37X. So my point is, even for you, practical concerns are generally king for the avg person. Shit like its horrible visibility and non existent space efficiency are huge turnoffs. I admire the Cmero as a marketing exercise and performance number/laptime generator, but as an actual car to own it seems like a terrible proposition.

Well, my auto G37 has paddles, so I'm really driving a Ferrari.

Anyone thinking about buying a Camaro needs to spend a few days with one.

I think people buying that type of car already know the car is no Camry.

There's a difference between "Not a Camry" and "able to see out of it".

You sure changed your tune. After you drove the V6 in 2010 you said you might buy one.

ND Miata for sure. Also curious to see what lane keep assist is like in the new outback. Kind of interested in the focus rs, but it's too expensive.

Audi A4 looks promising. M2 will be cool.

I'm a little pissed that the lane assist wasn't available for MY2015. :rage: Can I get it with a firmware update?

ND Miata is the one to watch for me. That commercial with the kid growing up with the NA got me right in the feels.

Just get the NA and quit crying, ya big baby.

Also, ND Miata:

-more expensive than the old car
-less hp than the old car (unheard of in this day and age!)

Why should I care?
