7th gen Accord interior was excellent in design (FWIW the '06 and '07 had the "refresh" with a blockier and not-as-attractive-IMO font on the gauges) however as with all Hondas until recently it had major NVH and rattle problems though.

I still think the '05-'07 Accord had the best styled interior of any car in its class until the new Mazda6 came out.
It's just a shame the exterior was equally as ugly

Thankfully my Civic is just as fast as the 4 banger 5MT, while being way more fun to drive (as 400lbs lost will do). Not much less practical either, back seat is legit sized for adults.

....so it wasn't?

The post facelift 7th gen Accord still looks good. I wouldn't mind a 6MT V6 sedan.

btw sat in a 1999 Accord today (first time). weirded me out that the a/c knobs and door lock buttons were all like my Odyssey. Decent enough average car though.

It reminds me of when I drove the dinky little Th!nk electric car and found the steering wheel, stalks, and headlight knob were straight out of my 1st-gen Focus.
