So buy an old ITA car. It's way cheaper to buy a racecar than to build one. The exception is Spec Miatas. Some of those are worth more than the sum of their parts.

how is ita formed. how guy get racecare.

Quite frankly, with the advent of Element, the Mitsubishis are on thin ice. Mighty Max has become irrelevent, and Summit always has been. A Miata and Element would make a great pair.

Those would be great complimentary cars.

One car has a hose-out interior, and the other one is designed to be rained in.

Where did this hose-out interior myth originate? I call shenanigans. Hosing out the interior is going to cause rust, mold, and electrical shorts on a modern car.

Even the seat upholstry is waterproof. Element is no joke.

Spray your hose at the dashboard. I want to know what happens.

It's not dirty, though

Do it anyway. Spray it right into the CD player hole while it's running.

I steam cleaned the elements floor after winter. There was a huge layer of salt on it by the end. Just used a towel to soak up most of the water and it worked great

When I raced in the Stinger class back on '07, it cost me almost $1500 to build the car... for a $500 "claimer" class. Guys smarter than me simply waited until the end of the first race, and claimed a car. Dickish move, but the rules allowed it.

Eye of the Tiger

I don't think anyone would claim Summit.

I just removed everything of value from the Summit.

With some new upholstery, I'll have a set of perfectly not special bucket seats.
