Tell me you've never paid twice what something was worth.

Not while sober, no.

Not even $0.60 for a can of soda that's worth $0.30?

In other news, Mitsubishi is offering $1250 rebates on 2015 Mirages. I could get one of those and use the $1250 to fix the Summit up real good.

It seems that Summit is threatening to enter the esteemed ranks of Sunfire and Cherokee as infamous purchases in CarSpin land. Will Eagle succeed where the others failed?

Pretty sure all the others lasted longer than 20 miles before they a$$ploded. I think we have a winner.

Why yes, Nick, taking on a 5 year car loan to get a rebate to fix the Summit would be the next logical step for you.

True, but they were sent away in disgrace, whereas this one might live on. Albeit without windshield wipers at present.

It's not rocket surgery to replace a little engine like this.

Sunfire and Cherokee?

Canadian Craig had a Sunfire that exploded shortly after buying it. I don't remember a Cherokee incident though. I'm just going to assume it was electrical and involved Submariner.

The Cherokee was Rupert. He replaced something nice (Volvo? Trooper?) with something that had to be sold not long after in non-running condition.

The Sunfire was funny. I think Craig bought it as sort of an iconoclastic gesture, "see! Y'all are just whiners, this car is fine, GM knew what they were doing."

Then it asploded.

To the Cherokee's credit, it just had to be bump started to be driven away.
