Canadian Craig had a Sunfire that exploded shortly after buying it. I don't remember a Cherokee incident though. I'm just going to assume it was electrical and involved Submariner.

The Cherokee was Rupert. He replaced something nice (Volvo? Trooper?) with something that had to be sold not long after in non-running condition.

The Sunfire was funny. I think Craig bought it as sort of an iconoclastic gesture, "see! Y'all are just whiners, this car is fine, GM knew what they were doing."

Then it asploded.
