So I was driving to my parent's house the other night.  They've opened a new road into their neighborhood (it's a relatively new development).  Cuts a few minutes out of the drive.

I go down this road.  At the end, giant concrete barriers.  No room to turn around, so I just jumped the curb and drove off road the rest of the way   Another win for the 4Runner

We can compare to my pics and the Tacoma.  Both have Flexin shots on this site.

Tacoma doesn't even have a rear sway bar.  Rear end gets mad flexxx.

68_427

I've got plastic endlinks so mad flex.

I've had aluminum A4 endlinks for a year now just haven't installed them

Alright, I think this is my favorite vehicle I've owned.  It's so well rounded.  Driving dynamics aren't great obviously, but it floats down the highway well.  Comfortable and tons of utility.

Carried a full bed this weekend from Columbus.  Unloaded that, and then carried a big desk, tv, and chair across town.

Just passed 15k miles.  I'm going to be putting 14k+ per year it seems.

*Clicks on page 1*

He apparently got it last December. So unless it had a lot of miles when he bought it, he'll be way past 14k miles this year.

MrH

It had a few thousand when I bought it.  Got it on Christmas Eve last year.  Maybe I will be over 14k?

Still no wheels and tires for me yet.  I think I'm going to force myself to pay for them with money I get from getting rid of stuff.  It'll give me incentive to purge the house of things I don't need.

Dude I've been having the same thoughts.

I think I'm going to wait until after winter to do wheels + tires. I already have snow tires that fit on the current wheels, but I want a smaller set for when I buy all terrains.

MrH

So I was going to buy the TRD Pro wheels for about $800 for a set of 4. But then I started looking around. Lots of people like the look of the Trail Edition wheels. Found a nice set for $400 in Cincinnati. Might jump on that. Thoughts? Not sure if I like the bright silver. Plastidipped black doesn't look bad at all.

Just not sure if I'm sold on the bright silver. A metallic copper color might be cool too. I like the shape a lot more than my SR5 wheels.

Don't fool around with PlastiDip! Take it from me! Just have them Powder Coated or painted! Too many peeling issues (as far as wheels go) with Dip! I learned the hard way! Peeled it all off and Painted mine!
