Over the years I get nothing but criticism for the categories.  First it was too many, then it was not enough, then they were too specific, then they were too vague.  So this year, I'm hoping the categories are finally "just right".  I doubt it, but I hope they are.

Mainstream.... Mazda 6? Especially the with manual trans. It is so good in so many ways, just not a super sportsy thing like every other "Mainstream" nomination (save for the ugly and mediocre Civic).
