No joke, there are guys on the sonic forum that have the trifecta tune turned all the way up and getting 180HP at the wheels

Then the turbo usually breaks, but still

Need to fit a huge intercooler and have it hang under the bumper

There's a guy who did that, and is pushing 240+ WHP. It's kinda dope.

So "terrible in every way" is a thing you say to people about their cars? Especially since most of us here aren't even sure if you've driven 1/6th of the cars that fill you with so much rage....

I mean, dyno runs and online spreadsheets are one thing, but driving a car in real life is another.

Hey, we all can't be speed racers and run through neighborhoods at triple digit speeds.

Pretty sure I drove the Sonic/Cruz (and I posted about it in MY car thread which you decided to read) The steering is too light, the engine is gutless and I hate hatchbacks.

... Nissan needs to use these shocks on the GT-R.  It would be like the Incredible Hulk wielding Thor's hammer.... unstoppable.

The Sonic and Cruze aren't the same car, and it's "Cruze".

You've never driven one.

So....shut the fuck up.

I had one as a rental, I'll see if I can dig the picture up. I wasn't impressed...but if you like it, more power to you.

You had a Cruze. They're not the same car.

Anyways since this thing keeps getting bumped to the top with Char's fuckery

I average about 32MPG in stop and go with uber driving.

If I put in 87 octane, it drops notably down to like 28-29.

HOLY SHIT, I can have more than one rental and another point in time.

Because it's pulling back timing and performance suffers as a result.

Hey man, keep it civil please.

Char hasn't added anything to the discussion and due to his attitude prior to this point, his "that's terrible" comment is inflammatory.

+1 chill yo

I'll be driving a VW to work for the next few weeks until the El Camino is resurrected. MulletRacer is down, but RaceBug is still kickin! That is, until it runs over my dog, abducts my family, and turns the neighborhood into a toxic waste dump.

Char has "done time" aka banned for a week already. His attitude is better than before. I've reviewed his recent posts. Can't hold him to a different standard because of his initial previous behaviour. Also, it shouldn't be a free pass for anyone to pile on.

Having said that, this is my thinking:

- The Spin is *mostly* a free for all and I'd like to keep it that way
- People can be really offended when things go over the line. Some do get offended, others don't but both are ok.
- If anyone gets really offended, report and we´ll take a look.
- If you get offended and escalate then you're part of that problem too.

Can't make everyone happy but I hope to help retain/attract members if we keep it a bit more civil.

They look pretty good in that picture. Would have to see it in person to know for sure.
