After a couple hundred hours of sanding, straightening, filling and block sanding, followed by careful alignment of the body panels the car is finally going to the painters tomorrow.  It ought to be an interesting drive, what with no lights, no glass, and he doors and hatch held closed with ropes and bungee cords.

Wait a second... are you EtypeJohn? I was away from the Spin for awhile, and just assumed he stopped posting and some new guy called CLKid started posting.

CLK picked up this Jag a year or two ago. Too bad Etype left, they'd be good friends.

Yeah, sold the 2+2 about 5 years ago, bought the CLK about 3 years ago and sold the 95 Miata M.  Finally got the house completed and decided a needed a toy to while away the spare time on so I bought the FHC last July.

Well, it only took about a year after I came back to figure it out...

The "new' car is looking good - can't wait to see it all painted up. Is it pretty good mechanically?
