My car's paint looks pretty good for the milage I suppose and I'll get around to waxing it soon, which will be nice.

But I notice that there are minor/small scratches here and there that kinda bother me when I go up close to it. Again, nothing huge or super deep but they're there. What's the best product and/or technique for dealing with it?

Is it on the clear coat or scratched through the actual paint?

Hmm. Not sure, but they don't seem that deep. I'll take a couple pics tomorrow.

One option is to take the car to a good detail shop.

Or

Meguiars and other companies make pretty decent scratch and swirl removers.  If done by hand all require a fair amount of elbow grease; there is no magic potion you can spread on the car that will get rid of them.

Yes, if they're pretty good scratches it might cost less to have someone else do it vs. having to buy a buffer and bottles of the detailer for only one use

Buff the whole car in 80 grit sandpaper and the scratches will be completely unnoticeable.
