Just bought a 2003 Land Cruiser (look, parking lots are Technically land too, OK?) to augment (not replace) he Family Truckster, which needs some attention that requires taking it out of commission for a while.

It been looking for Land Cruisers for a long time and had my heart set on an FJ62 ('80s model), but they kept evading me. So, when the front crank seal for the wagon started leaking more than I was comfortable with,I went ahead and got something close.

So far, Inreally like it and see where the reputation for feeling solid comes from. Also, I've been able to fix the annoying Nav system error message by turning the screen off.

Yes. Except it's a 472 (7.7 liter, shorter stroke, same family) and a 425 (original). I have considered selling it often, but my wife is attached to it as it was her grandma's.

Well, that's the straw and the proverbial camel. Steering box is likely going wonky, heater core is plugged up, and there are just a bunch of other things I want to do. Getting another vehicle has been an option I've been kicking around for a while, and his seemed like a good one.
