IIRC, the all-new 2016 Camaro didn't sell any better than the 6-year-old, end of life 2015 on the year.

January is historically the worst month for sporty car sales.  Facelifted and updated Mustang will be out this fall, so some buyers may be waiting to grab the updated model instead of the lame-duck 2017.
