Well, fuck. I broke something good now. Transfer case maybe. Front diff? Been towing a trailer back and forth to the new house, and on the way back, something let loose. Engine just revs, no power to anything. Gear grindy sort of noise from the front end it seems. But here's the weird thing. I stop for a second, then it drives like normal. It happened again and I locked the transfer case and it drove fine.

Stopped, let everything cool down, dropped the trailer. Truck drives fine for 15 minutes or so. No weird noises, nothing. Then it happens again as I pull intonthe driveway.

None of the Land Cruiser forums seems to have experienced this.
