It would be so inefficient to carry two different calibers of pistols.

Irregardless of that hogwash, I know u guise are itching for the details ...

1988 GMC K1500
A thousand bux.
109,000 original miles, no shit. Not sure if I believe that or not. It also has an hour meter, backup beeper, and PA speaker; so I suppose it was a fleet vehicle.
4.3L V6 with no mufflers that runs super rich and smells great doing it. Probably a leaky injector on that electronic carburetor. Easy fix. Back in 1988, this was rated 160 HP @ 4000 RPM and 235 lb-ft @ 2400 RPM. Super torque monster.
TH700R4 autotragic, apparently with a shift kit or a stuck accumulator because it doesn't fool around shifting. Four actual speeds, plus reverse, and they all work. Also, the TV cable is broken, so it doesn't exactly kick down. EZFIX.
The 4wd works, too, I think. Low range is low, anyway.
The brakes work. Holy cow.
It only stalled once on the 30 mile drive home. No big deal, because the starter works.
Free tool box! Haven't looked inside, yet.
The AC doesn't work, and probably never will. Don't care.

Oh yeah, I guess the TV cable could be why it shifts so hard. Whatever.  :violin:

nice.  the auto is better with this engine.  at least mine is programmed to keep it at torque peak literally all the time so in gear acceleration is pretty damn good.

So, like a CVT? That's annoying.
