According to Cougs, the market can not be manipulated -coug's shrug-

Billions of dollars are invested in the company.  Fairly certain the large investors have done a fair bit more due diligence then your shorty hit piece of the day have done.

Didn't people invest billions in Enron?

Enron was essentially "cooking the books."  Tesla?

Depends on what this subpoena finds.

Mostly though, I think it's plain old irrational exuberance.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

That's what doesn't make sense, the fact that no matter which way you spin it, the financials looks horrible, and there's no way they could get out of it by being bought out because they're so far in the hole and so over valuated, what's the end game for those jumping into it?

Not sure which statement you're asking about.

For the former, the SEC.

For the latter, speculative investors in general.

I suppose all these guys are just bitter shorts trying to cut their losses, and that CNBC is a fossil fuel shill:

It's up 100% in a matter of weeks/months ... Why would you not take profits at this point?

Taking some profits after a 100% price increase is uselually fairly basic investing advice... Far from bailing or shorting due to a bogus shorty news piece

So you're saying Tesla stock is overvalued?

Price increases aren't when analysts recommend to sell. Generally they go off of undervalued or overvalued. If Tesla jumped 100% in a couple of months but are still considered undervalued, it would be a dumb time to sell.

So who exactly is giving you all this investing/investing/taxation/estate planning advice?

Gates. vs. Musk!

Gates buys a Taycan. Musk is butt hurt.

I mean, if you're worth mega rich, wouldn't you want to buy the better product too?

Meanwhile, Tesla up almost 10%, to within a stone's throw of $1000.

Tesla illustrates the danger of retail investing.

Tesla has all the downside of a hedge fund but beyond "speculation" not the upsides (if one can consider that an upside), and one has to be an SEC accredited investor to invest in a hedge fund.

Testing in production is a

I would think that the system would also use GPS data for the speed limit and compare the two to spot discrepancies.

Also, an 85 MPH limit on any but a few limited access roads in a couple of states should be an invalid number regardless.

Yes, and if there is a 150%+ discrepancy, it should probably go with the safer, slower value.

If the car is tricked into speeding and is being chased by the law, and the driver is asleep, should there be a provision for the car to recognize the law and pull over?

Just wondering.

From comments I've seen on other sites, the newer models do that. Only the first models only read signs.
