Much nicer-looking than the Tahoe IMO. It's not just the color either.

It does look better.  I think it's better proportioned than the Tahoe for some reason.

Raza

They all look the same to me.

All the mom's in my town will get one shortly.

Maybe I'll feel differntly as I'm caught in the artifical eclipse of a passing suburban, but I'm with the doesn't do anything for me crowd.

Colonel Cadillac

The 'burban has always looked better porportioned in my opinion.

I think previous Suburbans have been better proportioned than corresponding Tahoes, but this time, I think the Tahoe looks better.

I agree.  The rear half of this vehicle is a bit...awkwardly proportioned.  :hammerhead:

I'd say both in the next and the current generation, the Suburban looks better. I prefer the pre-1999 Tahoe though.

TBR

The current model looks best in extended length version, but the newer and older ones look better as Tahoes imho.

It's okay. But I think it's nearly impossible to make a vehicle that large look truly good.

You're my age.  We're getting old.  Plus, now that you're married, your life expectancy has gone way down, since you're more likely to be poisoned by your wife.

agreed.  I'm gonna have to see this one in real life before I really judge it.  I'm holding out hope that it looks better in real life then in these pics.  I think it will.

The front of the next Tahoe/Suburban came out well, the back didn't.

But it was impossible to improve on the timeless, classic styling of the previous trucks.

Sure enough, I was thinking that 2000 was the last year for the C/K gen so I did an autotrader search for MY2000 gray Tahoes, but as usual images for autotrader wouldn't show up for me so I just had to trust that  I was indeed posting the right thing. Unfortunately, i wasn't.

ifcar

Ah, I see.

While I'd tend to agree that that Tahoe looked better, the Suburban carries a vaster size just as well.
