Aston Martin collaboration with Italian independent coachbuilding company Zagato has spanned over 60 years, giving us some of the most beautiful cars like the classic DB4 GT Zagato. The absolutely stunning Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake was spawned out of their most recent collaborative project. On Wednesday, the two brands announced that they will team up again to create two special editions to celebrate Zagato's centenary next year. Called the DBZ Centenary Collection, it includes a track-only DB4 GT Zagato Continuation car and a new road-legal DBS GT Zagato, both limited to 19 examples. What's interesting is that these cars won't be sold separately, buyers will have to buy them as a pair for whopping $7.8 million.

Aston Martin will build the 2019 DB4 GT Zagato Continuation model at the DB4's original home – at Aston Martin Works, Newport Pagnell. These 19 continuation cars will bring the total number of DB4 GT Zagatos built to 44 from 25, but won't be street-legal and are only intended for track use only like the Le Mans-racing originals. The second car of the pair called the DBS GT Zagato is basically a DBS Superleggera with a body redesigned by the Italian coachbuilder. Only a pencil-drawn concept sketch was shown off, but we are presuming that it will mechanically identical. Customer deliveries will begin in the last quarter of 2019 for the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation, while the DBS GT Zagato deliveries will start a year later in fourth quarter of 2020.

I wish. That could be the ultimate Bond car if it shot giant balls of energy at enemies.

Mehhh.

You'd have to spend three episodes just progressively screaming louder first.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Yeah, but I wouldn't mind listening to an Aston Martin DB4 wail.

Most of these will end up being expensive mancave art, like buying a painting.

That's just about fine with me. They are incredible works of art.
