Just the floor boards, because the cowl drain was clogged. The body is pretty nice.

Ranger is back in business. I covered the seat and bolted it back in. Rubber floor mats cover the holes. It started right up after about 10 seconds of cranking.
Oh yeah, I hadva friend come over last week and help me bleed the brakes. Emmanual brakes ftw. Such solid feel now.

10 seconds? Fuel pump check valve. You don't need a friend. Gravity bleed.

It had been sitting for probably two months. 10 seconds is pretty good for a mechanical pump and carb.
Also, I rebuilt the master cylinder. Gravity sucks.

Ranger is a death trap. I accidentally spilled some oil in the #4 plug hole while topping it off. Later, I take a hard left turn, and all that oil pours onto the exhaust manifold. Danger!!! Since there is currently a giant hole in the floorboard, the cabin filled with smoke.

You've looked into building a pre-fab garage / house.  Could you buy an existing structure and make it work that way?

I was in Burlington not long ago and went to a breakfast stop that was converted from a shop that served 2-3 axle trucks.  Maybe 1,300 sq. ft. or a bit more, 20 foot ceilings, only enough room for one big rig at a time, but you could easily fit 2-3 cars in there (more if you built raised living space and parked underneath).  Even in a popular neighborhood in a booming town, it cost the people under 100k to buy.

Just something to consider...

I changed Ranger's oil today, and used three random leftover jugs of oil.
1 qt of 10w-30
2 qts 5w-30
2 qts 15w-40
=
5 qts of 10w-34.

Can't decide if sell Ranger or Dakota. The market is crap right now. Dakota would be lucky to sell for $2000. Ranger would probably sell quick for $700, because anything that runs for $700 will sell.
