EU Carbon Boarder tax

This is something I have supported for a decade - using tariffs to force countries to raise their own bar of environmental stewardship... rather than it just being a race to the lowest common denominator. 

As a side note, it also kills off new ICE engines in 2035 (well what remain available by that time)

Dead on arrival.  As per the article "hostile reception from trading partners including China and Russia".

The EU is imploding quick enough as it is.

China and Russia will be the first to eat their lunch, followed by India and then, eventually, Africa.
