Why anyone would buy anything other than a Toyota is a mystery to me.

Head Mechanic Nick agrees with Dr. Wimmer. Electronically controlled vehicles are vulnerable to hackers, government tracking, and EMP attacks.

They're hot. Here's a 1969 previous gen on BaT with only 30k miles with the ultra rare 427 V8. How it's only $12k with only ~20 hours left is almost a crime. Cool thing it's only ~20 miles from me. Tempting. Very tempting.

Could be worth checking out.  Maybe the first in your collection.

The 427 is very tempting.

She's up to almost $16k now less than an hour left. My limit would have been $15k anyway. For a four-door, I'm only going higher for a 440-powered fuselage Mopar. Anyway, the reserve has got to be higher still.

Bid to $22k with reserve not met. To me that seems a fair price, as does the market, what with 900+ watchers and at least 15 separate bidders.

The seller is a bit to optimistic here. Had this the upmarket 390 hp 427, then maybe?

$22k seems like a very reasonable price it the reserve was lower. Considering it's a 4 door. But I guess the seller was hoping for more of a BaT premium

If you put modern brakes & shocks on that thing, plus a monopoint fuel injection kit, it would be a great daily driver. I wouldn't change a thing externally.

This generation, and the fuselage Mopars, are IMO, are the (extremely) few of cars that IMO look better as 4-door hardtops. Also looks like hideaway headlights were an option for 1969. Looks very stately yet not so flashy as a Caddy or Lincoln.
