1979 Datsun Skyline 2000GT Coupe

1979 Datsun Skyline 2000GT Coupe in Munich with Ukrainian plates. It's for sale! 120,000 km (75,000 miles) and can be yours for 30,000 Euros. The wheel arches appear to have been widened.

Came across this car while cycling through the city. I suppose this car ended up in Vladivostok, Russia, after the Japanese government tightened emissions and from there it eventually made its way to the Ukraine.

In the late 1970s my parents owned the 4-door version of this vehicle in Hong Kong, photos at the end. A very nice-looking car!

Not a big fan of the wheels...I prefer period-correct wheels...but a gem nonetheless.

Yeah, the wheels are nasty and the wide-body arches look ridiculous but are well done in terms of workmanship. These cars should remain stock.
