I didn't have audio on the video (I was on a call, so I just fast forwarded and looked at the visuals), but I thought this was going to have a manual option. Is this still true or am I thinking of a different car?

The video shows the manual shifter. It's just very minimalist. I was thrown off by it for a minute too.

Oh wow, I saw how small that gate was and thought it was a sequential box. I'm used to seeing much more dramatic open gate shifters, like Ferrari or the Audi R8.

Yes, it is manual only. They were designing a dual clutch, but for the coupe version of the T-33, only two out of 100 customers ordered the DSG so they canned the project.
